JK Rowling Splashes The Cash

JK Rowling had some spare loose change in her purse so she decided to use it to buy a £2.5 million 17th century mansion in Edinburgh. It's only a short drive to her luxury house nearby in Merchiston.

JK supposedly bought the mansion after just seeing 3 of it's 31 rooms. It's not known if this will become her main residence or not. She has a choice, as she owns properties in Scotland and London with a value in excess of £12 million.

Ms Rowling's spokesperson would not comment on such 'a private matter'.

Harry Potter creator J.K Rowling yesterday with a French gong. She was at the Elysee Presidential Palace in Paris and was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour (Legion d'Honneur) by the main man President Nicolas Sarkozy.

JK Rowling Lets It All Hang Out

Harry Potter writer JK Rowling has changed from her almost drab appearance when her first book was published to someone quite glamorous - perhaps it's all of that cash she's made.

She's also taken to wearing lower cut dresses and got a bit flustered yesterday when she showed off slightly more than she intended. There she was in the USA talking to a group of children and the photos show us what happened next.

Fortunately she was able to adjust her dress and bra to continue her talk.

JK Rowling is in the U.S on a book tour, her first in over seven years, and she started out with a mass signing in Los Angeles.

Jo said, "This is an amazing treat for me. I really miss being able to interact directly with the readers."

The tour travels on now to New Orleans and finishes with two appearances in New York.

The gentleman is Matt Peacock, seemingly an ex of Jodie's other inflated rival Jordan, now known as Kate Price. Jodie Marsh is quoted as saying, about Matt Peacock, "I am in love with his six pack and big willy." And that about sums up Jodie Marsh!

Kate Moss is said to be on the move to the USA as she wants to get as far away as possible from her ex Pete Doherty. Kate is thinking about basing herself in Las Angeles and Pete? He's in a rehab clinic.

JK Rowling wowed Jonathan Ross viewers last night dressed in a sexy low cut halterneck top. For a change JK looked confident and at ease while being interviewed.

She told how she felt after finally completing all of the Harry Potter books: "I was in a hotel room on my own. I was sobbing my heart out, I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and then went home with mascara all over my face."

To think, that before she started writing the HP books she was living on £70 ($140) a week social security. Now she's worth something like £550 million, that's $1100 million. Quite an achievement.

Eva Gets Married
Eva Longoria, of Desperate Housewives fame married basketball player, Tony Parker, yesterday in France. Eva is 32 and Tony's 25. He said, "I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I feel blessed." This was the civil ceremony, as required by French law, and today there will be a religious ceremony followed by a knees up at the Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte - this is where the movie Maria Antoinette was shot. Tony is a bit of an eager beaver saying that he'd like to have children as quickly as possible. Should be a good night.

A Good Kisser
Katie Leung, who had to kiss Harry Potter, said that Daniel Radcliffe was a good kisser. And Daniel said he'd never been trained at kissing and that he used his tongue without realising he shouldn't have. Katie doesn't seem to have minded having her tonsils licked.

It's All Fake At BB
It's fake week on UK Big Brother. Actress Thaila Zucci is to go into the house pretending to be an Australian Big Brother housemate. If the other contestants don't realise she's telling fibs within three day they will be on basic rations.
