Lily Allen Ready To Launch Own Jewellery Range

A slim and trim Lily Allen was at Claridges hotel, London for the build up to the launch of her own jewellery range. This will be called 'Lily Allen' - must have taken ages to think up that name!

There will be nine different ranges and, it is said that, the designs are inspired by everything from animals to flowers. They are aiming for the 14 to 40 market.

Lily said, "I love jewellery. Always have done. I feel that it completes an outfit. You can change your whole look just by changing which jewellery you choose to go with what you're wearing."

She continued, "I’m really pleased with all of the designs. We worked hard on getting them exactly how we wanted them."

Lily Allen doesn't condone illegal drug use. Well that's what her people want to emphasise because of a track, Everyone's At It, which is on her new soon to be released album It's Not Me It's You.

The statement on Lily's behalf said, "The song itself talks about a culture of both legally prescribed drugs like anti-depressants and also illegal drug use. Lily Allen would like to state unequivocally that she does not condone illegal drug use."

The release went on to say that Lily "has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs."

So that's sorted. Oh, and of course, it's all good publicity for her album!

Amy Winehouse has put her touring on hold 'until further notice in order to address her health issues' according to her website. She has recently pulled out of various concerts, including this weeks V Festival.

When she appeared in Baltimore this month the Washington Post described her as looking 'something like a tattooed skeleton in skimpy khaki shorts and midriff-baring tank top.'

Lily Allen has also cancelled her U.S. tour but had no choice. Her visa has been revoked - this followed her being detained for over five hours and Los Angeles customs when she arrived there from Australia.

Lily Allen has admitted that she is following in her father's footsteps and has a problem with alcohol. Not that this is any real shock to fans.

Lily Allen says, "I'm an alcoholic now. It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up. I've got to stop abusing myself because as far as I'm concerned every loon hates me now."

Her father Keith Allen has been a hard drinker in his time and a reputation in the past as a boozer.

Lily adds, "I have been getting really drunk because I've been so nervous about doing bad shows." The problem has been that in the USA the drink has caused 'bad shows'.

It would be sad to see her talent go to waste.
