World's Top Ten Most Desirable Women

In yet another poll, this time by AskMen, Eva Mendes has found herself perched prettily at the pinnacle of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women.

It seems that more than ten million votes were cast - so that's a pretty good indicator as to how men think.

Eva, fourth in 2008, snatched the title from last years winner Katherine Heigl.

AskMen's editor in chief said, "Obviously good looks are one quality but intelligence, ambition and humour also count.

There are women in their mid to late 30s on this list, who may be old by industry standards, but you see more mature women on this list. The younger women getting a lot of play on gossip sites haven't had the time to accumulate the achievements that a lot of these women have."

One good point Paris Hilton was no where to be found on the list!

Other celebs participating include Mario Batali, Beastie Boys, Gwyneth Paltrow, David Chang, Tom Colicchio, Salman Rushdie, Cameron Diaz, the cast of Gossip Girl, Rachael Ray, Eva Mendes, Mike Myers, Ellen Page, Michael Stipe, Liv Tyler and Diane Von Furstenberg.

The auction runs until December 18, 2008, at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Eva Mendes: It Was Fun Being Nude In The Spirit
