The Special One has been sacked! How could they? Jose Mourinho has been given the boot by Chelsea, though they say it was a mutual decision. It shows the power a man like Roman Abramovich holds because of his money. Jose was a breath of fresh air on the UK football scene and now, because he wouldn't be told who to play, it's the end. Well not quite. It's said he'll get £10-12 million as compensation and, of course, some other club will want him.

George Michael
Openly gay singer George Michael has said he'll never take an HIV test because he is scared it could come back positive. For a man who admits to a promiscuous lifestyle it does sound a little irresponsible. He hasn't had a test since 2004.

Oscar De La Hoya
Photos have been published of the boxer Oscar De La Hoya wearing fishnet tights, a wig and women's knickers. He says they are all fake. His agent, Jack Tiernan agrees, "They're completely manufactured. The pictures have been manipulated and the matter has been referred to his attorney." Cheryl Cole
Rumours have been going round that Girls Aloud were to split. Cheryl Cole denied this and said, "Our best is yet to come." The stories started as songwriter Alison Clarkson claimed Cheryl was looking for material for an album of her own.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson
Tara says she has a crush on Justin Timerlake. She supposedly managed to lock the two of them in a cupboard! Tara said, "Justin was in the studio next to mine. So did I go and see him? I practically smashed the walls down."

Ban Models Under 16
Following the deaths of two South Afican models, from anorexia, an inquiry into skinny models has recommended that (1) under 16's should be banned from the London Fashion Week and (2) 17 and 18 year old models should undergo regular medical checks.

Top models in the UK, such as Kate Moss and Lily Cole (right), started their careers at the tender age of just 14. Perhaps there is something to be said for trying to protect under 16's. Mind you, they will probably still try to be skinny for when they reach 16. So will a ban actually do any good? Probably not. Lily Cole looks okay though!

India In Christiano and Bipasha Frenzy
Yesterday we mentioned how Christiano Ronaldo and Bipasha Basu got very friendly in Lisbon. This story has caught on in India but Bipasha Basu said that the 'kiss', seen between the couple, was taken out of context.

The Indian newspapers had previously reported that Bipasha's relationship with Bollywood actor John Abraham was in trouble.

Bipasha told the Times of India newspaper about her meeting with Ronaldo. She said, "Meeting him was a dream come true. After the event, we went out clubbing, and that was simply fantastic. He is so cute and it was strange when he called me cute ... He is a friend now and he has promised me that I will be invited for all his matches."

Speculation abounds!

George Michael Charged £130,000
It has been reported that George Michael overrun his Wembley concert and has been charged £130,000 for doing so. It seems that Wenbley has strict time rules and that concerts must finish on time - otherwise there is a £10,000 fine for each additional minute. Shouldn't think this will break George's bank.

Charley Won't be Evicted
Charley Uchea is up for eviction, from the UK Big Brother house, with Nicky Maxwell but neither of them will have to leave permanently - as yet. It's Fake Week so whoever is evicted will go back in. Some BB fans are desperate to get Charley out but, you never know, with careful editing she might hang on for a few more weeks yet.

Connie Talbot, the six year old girl who was one of the runners up to Paul Potts in the Britain's Got Talent television show, is set to get a record deal. That guy Simon Cowell again?

Bernard Manning, the comedian, died two days ago and many of his, sometimes not very PC, jokes have been circulating. Here's one: "I went to see Pavarotti sing last week. Terrible, miserable man. He doesn't like you joining in, does he?"

Bruce Willis says, "I would really love a son, or two sons, or three more girls." His handicap is that he hasn't anyone in mind to be the mother. He's not too concerned by this. 52 year old Bruce said, "That's the good thing about being a guy - it doesn't matter how old you are."

Charley Uchea's cousin, Kieran Richardson the Manchester United football star, is quoted as saying that he doesn't want anything to do with her following her appearance on Big Brother. He's upset at references to himself, her bitchiness and her boasting about goings on with other footballers. Charley is still hanging in there on the BB program. She can't be voted out again this week.

George Michael will be a guest in the next series of Ricky Gervais hit television show Extras. No doubt Ricky will find a lot of humour based on George: his driving ban, his community service, his toilet cruising etc. etc.

Danielle Lloyd was spotted at Ascot races yesterday, hopefully not dressed as in the photo below! And to think she was supposed to be conquering the USA - you have to smile! Dream on Danielle.
