Melinda Messenger Gets A Boxers Helping Hand

Dancing on Ice judge, the bitchy Jason Gardiner, has predicted that Melinda Messenger will be the next celebrity evicted from the show. So she went to Ricky Hatton, the boxer, for help.

Not sure why, but he's supposedly given her a fighting spirit to stay in Dancing on Ice.

Melinda said, "It's all about being focused, it's about being controlled, it's about not holding back and going for it. Not losing your bottle when you make a mistake, just carrying on. Ricky is really inspiring and motivating so hopefully I'm going to carry that with me to Sunday night and not let the fear overtake me."

It's really just a bit of a publicity stunt but there are worse skaters so she could possibly stay in. The problem is that there is something about Melinda's personality that just doesn't appeal to voters - despite her obvious attributes.

Melinda Messenger Ice Skating
Melinda Messenger was spotted getting some ice skating practice. So it looks like she is in the frame for the next Dancing On Ice, which kicks off again early next year.

Things seem to be on the up for Melinda. She has also just launched her perfume Delightful and is giving her marriage to Wayne Roberts another bash. They were apart for six months and she said, "There’s nothing more we would like than to make things work between us." The couple have three children. She is also doing a lingerie modelling campaign for Ultimo.

Could well be a succesful 2009 for Melinda Messenger.
