She descended from the ceiling on a circular trapeze, appropriately singing Circus - yes Britney Spears is back and New Orleans saw the opening night of The Circus: Starring Britney Spears Tour.
She won over the fans with a stunt filled extravaganza of a show. Britney straddled a stripper's pole, she had a martial arts theme while singing Gimme More. There was an in vogue Bollywood routine and she was even 'cut in half' during her performance of Ooh Ooh Baby.
It was non stop costume changes - over 25 were counted - and she finished with a remix of Baby ... One More Time.
