Derren Brown's explanation as to how he forecast the UK Lottery result pulled in a good sized television audience, up to 4.6 million through the programme. A great result for Channel 4.Problem is his explanation, as expected, was a load of hogwash.
It was a great trick but, of course, he won't reveal the real way he 'guessed' the correct Lottery numbers. It's too valuable. He'll be able to do similar stunts around the world - earning himself fame and fortune.
So we'll all have to carry on with our Lotto numbers with 14 million to one odds.
