Lukyanova Valeria, a young Russian woman of 21 years old, is the new Internet sensation to be listed as the new Barbie, a trend that 16 years old Dakota Rose opened a few months ago. (See article)
The image of this young woman has a beauty almost artificial; for that reason she has been compared to the Mattel doll.
Many people suspect that the photos have been retouched with Photoshop to give little credence to the particular beauty of Valeria.
But the image that has sparked controversy is one where the young Russian girl shows her “wasp waist”, questioning her weight, being too thin for many.
