Is Freida Pinto Married And Also Dating Dev Patel

Though there is a six year age gap actor Anil Kapoor has said that Slumdog's Freida Pinto and Dev Patel are dating. They were seen together browsing in a jewellers.

Dev has said previously, however,"She told me after our first audition that she felt like a bit of a paedophile because we had to do this love scene and she was like 23 and I was 17 at the time. So it was pretty weird for her."

So is it as it seems? The Daily Telegraph, usually one of the more reliable UK newspapers, had a headline which said, 'Freida Pinto has Secret Husband.' There were claims that Freida had seperated from fiance Rohan Antao - who was actually her husband! Rumours say they married in Goa in December 2007.

The couple supposedly kept the wedding a secret to enable them to get better roles in Bollywood.

The Telegraph reports a source as saying:

"Freida and Rohan fell in love at college and were extremely close. They were great together. The marriage was an impulsive decision and both of them went to a designer to get the gown made.

Rohan was with her throughout her years as an actress when she was not at all famous. He supported her during the filming of Slumdog and the pair even celebrated the film's success at the Toronto Film Festival together last year.

However, she just stopped calling him around the time of the Golden Globes awards, when the film started to make waves internationally. He is completely shocked at being dumped and is heartbroken."

Freida Pinto's agent refused to comment. Freida and Dev: In a relationship or just a good publicity generating story?
