Mickey Rourke has made the headlines following his BAFTA award and is now tipped for an Oscar. He is once more a success, the man of the moment, but as far as his love life goes he said that Carre Otis was his 'only ever true love.'
Mickey got together with Carre while making the film Wild Orchid. It's said that some of their steamy sex scenes, for the movie, were for real. They married in 1992.
There were soon marriage problems. They split once in 1994, when he was arrested for 'spousal abuse' but never charged, and finally they divorced in 1998.
He is quoted as saying about Carre Otis: 'Carre was thunder and lightning and if I can't have thunder and lighning then I won't have anything.'
