Way back in July we wrote Mirthala Salinas: The New Woman In The Life Of LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.They are believed to be still seeing each other but Mirthala Salinas has now problems with her employers. Or rather her now ex employers!
Salinas was reassigned by the Telemundo network to avoid conflicts of interest, because of her relationship with Antonio Villaraigosa. This was following a two month suspension. She failed, however, to turn up for work.
A Telemundo spokesperson said that KVEA-TV and Salinas, "have mutually agreed to end our employment relationship. We are not in a position to make any further comment on our discussions with Ms. Salinas surrounding her departure. We are not in a position to make any further comment on our discussions with Ms. Salinas surrounding her departure."
Villaraigosa would not comment and would only say, "I don't have any knowledge about that. I just couldn't tell you anything. I wouldn't have any information."
