Celebrity News Snippits

Simon Cowell and Terri SeymourSimon Cowell
So why did Simon Cowell split up with Terri Seymour, his girlfriend of six years? It's a celebrity thing. He explains:
"She wants a different path in life, and I totally respect her for it. I think in relationships, you have to be totally honest. I have always been and I know Terri knows that.

Bottom line is I am married to my job. When people moan about been a celebrity, I think 'Oh please, sort yourself out - it's the greatest job in the world.' I wake up daily thanking my lucky stars, but to throw marriage into that mix is not right. I have seen too many celebrity marriages that on paper make a great mix, fall apart through ego and just plain celebrity madness."
Amy Winehouse
Blake Fielder-Civil has been released from prison to enter rehab. But he did manage the comment, "I'm gonna see my wife and take her knickers down." The man is so classy (as well as violent). Meanwhile his wife Amy Winehouse had a bust up with photographers. Her father arrived and then ordered a pizza. So life pretty much as usual for the Winehouse clan.

There could be a sequel to the Sex and the City movie. Well that's what Kim Cattrall let out of the bag. She said, "We'll do a sequel in the summer." That is if everyone is available at the right time.

Jeremy Clarkson
Following in the footsteps of Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand a Labour MP has said that the BBC should also sack the mighty Jeremy Clarkson. He made remarks about prostitutes and lorry drivers - Jeremy that is, not the MP.

What he actually said was, "This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers - it's a hard job: Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day."

"Must be a dismissible offence," said MP Chris Mole.

Ray Davies
Sixties Kinks frontman Ray Davies says they are writing new songs for a possible reunion album. The group disbanded in 1996. The sticking block may be his brother, Dave Davies who doesn't appear to be interested.

Michael Crichton
