When she left the UK soap Eastenders who'd have thought that 'Chelle would have ended up on US television as The Bionic Woman.Michelle Ryan has certainly done well for herself. Last night the remake of the 70's TV series The Bionic Woman made it's debut with 13.9 million viewers.
Michelle Ryan played the part of Zoe Slater until 2005 in Eastenders and it's hard to imagine that she beat off Hollywood competition to land this new role. Variety magazine said she has 'an appealing presence.'
Here in the UK we'll have to wait until early next year to see 'Chelle in action. It will be on the digital channel ITV2.
