Adult Star Syvette Wimberly Allegedly 'Stole Name'

Is it wrong to use a friend's name? How would you feel if a friend used your name as an actor in porn movies?

This is the problem that Syvette Wimberly had. She found out that a friend Lara Madden, 25, had been using her name in pornographic films. The real Syvette Wimberly is so mad she has filed a lawsuit in the Harris County District Court claiming she has 'suffered emotional distress and mental anguish'. And what's more she wants monetary damages. She also wants the producers of the films to stop using her name.

Part of the charge reads:

'Defendant Madden deliberately chose the Plaintiff's name as her 'stage name' for her pornographic performance career despite knowing the potential consequences for Plaintiff including extreme embarrassment.'

So is it wrong to use someone elses name? It all depends on the circumstances.

It will be interesting to hear what the court decides.
