The photo on the right is purported to be that of Amy Jacobson, a reporter for WMAQ-Channel 5, wearing a bikini. Not a newsworthy story by itself, of course, but there is a lot more to this than someone merely dressed in their swimwear.This is a shot from a video taken at the house of Craig Stebic whose estranged wife has gone missing. Lisa Stebic vanished on April 30. She and her husband, who have two children, were in the midst of a divorce
The video was captured by a photographer from WBBM-Channel 2.
Amy Jacobson was seen at Craig Stebic's house together with her two young sons, aged 2 and 3.
The question is as to whether Ms.Jacobson has breached journalistic ethics. She has now been taken off of the Stebic story and is believed to have been told to get herself a lawyer. Channel 5 would only say that,"the matter is under review."
Rumours abound about Lisa Stebic's disappearance and about how Mr. Stebic appears to talk to Amy Jacobson, a reporter, but not to the police.
